LG HelloVision to train \'Local Editor Crew\' of university students to produce regional content

LG HelloVision said on Sunday it signed MOUs with the Seoul and Busan Media Centers and with Dongguk University and Dongseo University to train a youth video creator group called the \"Local Editor Crew\". The partners will cooperate on producing and spreading regional content from a youth perspective and on industry-academia cooperation linking human and material resources. LG HelloVision will operate the crew with about 50 students, publish content on its regional channel and Instagram, and provide mentoring and scholarships.

National Assembly science committee recommends Hong Mi-ae, Koo Jong-sang, Kim Il-gon to media review body

South Korea\'s National Assembly Science, ICT, Broadcasting and Communications Committee on Thursday approved a motion to recommend 3 people as members of the Broadcasting, Media and Telecommunications Review Committee: former Sejong City Viewer Media Center head Hong Mi-ae, former Korea Communications Standards Commission member Koo Jong-sang and former Gyeongnam MBC president Kim Il-gon. The three were selected through talks between the ruling and opposition parties. The new body will have 9 members.
