Wavve introduces HDR picture and immersive audio for sports broadcasts
Online video service Wavve said on Tuesday it will apply Dolby Vision HDR video and Dolby Atmos immersive audio to broadcasts of all events on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association and Korea Professional Golf Association tours. It said the simultaneous use of both technologies in sports live broadcasts is a first across domestic broadcasting and streaming services. The rollout begins with the 2026 KLPGA Tour season-opening event, The Siena Open 2026, which starts on April 2.

Xiaomi unveils Xiaomi 17 series and Leica Leitz Phone ahead of MWC26
Xiaomi on Feb. 28 unveiled its next flagship smartphone Xiaomi 17 series and a Leica Leitz Phone at a global launch event in Barcelona ahead of the opening of MWC26. The company highlighted an evolved partnership with Leica, adopting a strategic co-development model spanning product development and user experience. Xiaomi 17 Ultra features a high-performance camera system, an APO lens configuration and a 1-inch main sensor, while the lineup uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 5th-generation mobile platform.

Lenovo expands premium OLED monitor lineup for professionals
Lenovo’s South Korea unit said it has launched two new monitors domestically: the Yoga Pro 27UD-10 aimed at creators and the Legion 27Q-10 OLED aimed at gamers. Both use QD-OLED panels and carry TUV Rheinland Eyesafe 2.0 certification. The Yoga model features a 26.5-inch 4K display, factory calibration and built-in camera, microphones and speakers. The Legion model offers 240Hz refresh and console mode support. Lenovo offers three-year warranties for both.
