KCT launches visual ARS, rolls out Chuseok plan promotion

Korea Cable Telecom (KCT) said on Sunday its budget mobile brand tplus has launched a “visual ARS” to improve customer service convenience. The service displays ARS menus on a screen, enabling self-service functions such as checking real-time usage charges and billed amounts and changing payment methods. Built on a web browser, it works on iOS and Android without an app. tplus is also running a September plan promotion.

KT M Mobile runs prize event for existing customers with Galaxy Z8 giveaways

KT M Mobile is running a prize event for existing customers, offering Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8, along with Naver Pay vouchers. The company said the “Big Event” will run through Sept. 30 for customers currently using its service lines. A total of 502 winners will be selected, including 500 who will receive 10,000-won Naver Pay vouchers. Winners will be announced in early November.

LG Hellovision staff trio reshape the company\'s social media

Three LG Hellovision employees are appearing in the company’s official social media content, creating short-form videos built on memes and workplace themes. The trio said no one ordered them to go on camera, but they began appearing after finding limits with outside performers. Their content helped boost Instagram followers from 856 in January last year to 10,746 as of August and shifted engagement toward younger users. The company also receives customer inquiries through direct messages.
