NH Investment & Securities has set up a dedicated organisation to respond to the inclusion of digital assets in the regulated system and the institutionalisation of tokenised securities (STO). It formed a digital asset task force on July 22 to identify business opportunities and build an execution base. The team will operate through Dec. 31, with an option to extend, and will prepare business models and short-term tasks ahead of an STO law due in February.

Bitcoin rose above $66,000 to its highest in a month, with expectations of easing regulatory uncertainty after signs of progress on the U.S. CLARITY Act. U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows for five straight sessions, totaling $727.3 million. Reports said the White House agreed on an ethics provision, though the Senate vote remained uncertain.
