Don’t just press the shutter: how to get camera-like results with a smartphone
Smartphone photos can improve significantly with a bit of care, including using third-party camera apps and applying basic edits. Smartphone sensors have advanced, but default camera apps often prioritize showing information clearly, which can flatten contrast and tone. Shooting in RAW or DNG can preserve more data for adjustments to color, contrast and brightness.
