OpenAI offers token awards to big API users, steps up developer push
OpenAI has launched a strategy to lock in developers by giving physical awards to companies that use large volumes of its API tokens. The Tokens of Appreciation program offers three tiers based on cumulative usage. In South Korea, Danggeun received a black token and Platyter received a silver token. OpenAI Korea said the goal is to draw developer communities into its ecosystem. The company is also expanding partnerships to spread Codex.

Bamito Wi moves to block illegal tracker device sales
The Broadcasting Media and Telecommunications Commission said on Thursday it will strengthen online platform self-regulation and conduct inspections to curb the distribution of illegal location trackers used for stalking and other violent crimes. It plans to display warning messages on major shopping sites and send caution notices on second-hand trading platforms. The commission will also check about 3,200 location information businesses and seek crackdowns on illegal devices with the science ministry.

Salesforce declares agentic work OS with Slackbot, says it can call ChatGPT and Claude
Salesforce said it will shift its enterprise collaboration platform Slack into an AI agent-based work operating system. Salesforce Korea CEO Se-jin Park said the goal is an agentic enterprise where people and agents coexist. Slackbot, launched in January, is a built-in personal AI agent that can summarise meetings, automate repetitive work and execute transactions. Slack can also call external AI agents such as Claude and ChatGPT, with more than 2,600 apps connected.
