Mirae Asset Securities included in DJBIC World Index for 14th straight year
Mirae Asset Securities said on Thursday it was included for a 14th consecutive year in S&P Global\'s DJBIC World Index, a global sustainability management index formerly known as the Dow Jones Sustainability Index. The index assesses environmental, social and governance factors among the world\'s top 2,500 companies by market capitalisation and selects only the top 10 percent in each industry. The company cited evaluations including disclosure, climate strategy and financed emissions management.

LG Electronics launches \'Battery Turn\' campaign to collect used vacuum batteries
LG Electronics said on May 18 it will run its \'Battery Turn\' resource-circulation campaign to collect used vacuum cleaner batteries and recycle them into rare metals. The campaign, backed by the Ministry of Climate, Environment and Energy and run with the Korea Environment Corporation and E-Circular Governance, has continued annually since 2022. Customers who return used batteries receive discounts on new battery purchases, with higher discounts offered this year.

SKT included in DJ BIC World Index for 17th consecutive year
SK Telecom said it has been included again this year in the Dow Jones Best in Class (DJ BIC) World Index, a global sustainability index. The DJ BIC index was renamed in September 2025 from the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices and is published annually by S&P Global. SKT said its inclusion reflects stronger board-led management, enhanced supply-chain ESG programs, climate governance and industrial safety and health management.
