Computex Taiwan is no longer a PC festival as AI permeates everything
A visit to the Computex 2026 show in Taipei suggests the event is shifting from a PC hardware showcase to an AI-focused exhibition. Nvidia highlighted AI-optimised devices such as RTX Spark and DGX Station, pushing large-memory systems aimed at running big models locally. Taiwan supply-chain firms showcased work on AI server racks, cooling and high-voltage direct current power distribution. Nvidia unveils 550 billion-parameter Nemotron 3 Ultra, starts mass production of Vera Rubin
Nvidia unveiled its 550 billion-parameter open AI model Nemotron 3 Ultra and said it has started mass production of its next AI server platform Vera Rubin. CEO Jensen Huang introduced both at a GTC Taipei 2026 keynote. Nvidia said the model will be released in open form this week and highlighted competitiveness in benchmarks and token generation speed, while an external index score trailed a leading Chinese model.

Nvidia aims for local AI supercomputer demand with Claw ecosystem
Nvidia is targeting South Korea as its first demand base for autonomous AI agents, promoting a full-stack package spanning OpenClaw, a security container called OpenShell and an enterprise service called NemoClaw, alongside DGX Spark hardware to run large models locally. It showcased its Build-a-Claw hands-on programme in Seoul. Nvidia positions local deployment as a way to reduce accumulating API costs and address security concerns, while pushing demand for DGX Spark and RTX systems.
