KT to deploy AI multilingual adviser in stores to cut language barriers for foreign customers
KT will introduce a \"KT multilingual artificial intelligence (AI) adviser\" in its retail stores, the first such move in South Korea’s telecom industry, to reduce language barriers for foreign customers. The service provides information in customers’ native languages on plans, add-on services, sign-up procedures and membership benefits. It supports more than 20 languages, including English, Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese. KT piloted the service at three foreigner-focused stores in the Seoul area and will expand it sequentially this month.
