KT said on Monday it will operate a cooperation pavilion at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 to support overseas expansion by South Korean small and venture firms.

KT will set up a standalone booth in Hall 8.1 of 4YFN (4 Years From Now), a startup-focused exhibition hall at MWC26, to be held from March 2 to 5 at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain.

A total of 12 small and venture firms will take part in the exhibition: Studio Freewillusion, Iruon, Pitch AI, Maymust, Langcode, Cplat AI, Gownet, Navipra, AI O2O, AI for Pet, Twiny and InEasy. They will showcase AX-based technologies such as AI solutions, platforms and robotics and seek entry into the European market.

KT will also run investment and export-linked programmes. It will hold investment and export consultations by inviting European venture capital firms and buyers, and support IR presentations by participating companies through a startup pitching session that is an official GSMA sponsor session.

KT supported overseas sales channel development for partner companies through an export-focused overseas exhibition last year and achieved export results exceeding 100 billion won.

Won-joon Lee (이원준), head of procurement at KT and an executive vice president, said, "KT is expanding cooperation with innovative companies that have competitiveness in new growth areas such as artificial intelligence (AI)." He added, "We will strengthen support so they can generate visible results in the global market."
