China\'s June crude imports plunge 41 percent, focuses on electric taxis to ease oil supply strain
China’s crude oil imports fell to their lowest level in nine years in June, with rising electrification in taxis and ride-hailing seen as a key driver of lower oil use amid supply worries around the Strait of Hormuz. June imports dropped 41.3 percent year on year to 29.27 million tons. Sleeping 90 minutes later a day leads to 0.5 kg weight gain in six weeks, study says
Cutting sleep by about 80 minutes a night can lead to weight gain in six weeks, a study found. Adults who usually slept 7 to 8 hours and delayed bedtime by about 90 minutes slept 78.4 minutes less on average and gained about 0.5 kg over six weeks. Researchers also saw more sedentary time and suggested mild but sustained sleep loss may affect weight, metabolic health and cardiovascular health.

Samsung SDI improves battery performance with gel polymer electrolyte
Samsung SDI said on Sunday it developed a technology that improves both the lifespan and safety of lithium metal batteries, working with Columbia University. It said a fluorine-based gel polymer electrolyte forms a stable interface on the anode surface and effectively suppresses dendrites that degrade performance. The company said lithium metal batteries have 1.6 times the energy density of ternary batteries but have faced limits to commercialisation due to short cycle life.
