Coinone \'Coin Saving\' now available on KakaoBank app

Coinone’s recurring investment service \'Coin Saving\' is now available on the KakaoBank app. Coinone said on May 19 it is working with KakaoBank, its real-name account partner, to offer the service within KakaoBank’s app. Users can set purchase rules and check real-time performance in KakaoBank’s investment tab. The service supports 10 digital assets, with up to 20 plans per user and amounts from 5,000 won to 5 million won per purchase.

South Korea crypto trading value and holdings plunge; stablecoin demand rises

South Korea\'s crypto market has weakened, pushing investors\' holdings and trading value down to about half of peak levels, while demand for dollar-based stablecoins continues to rise. Crypto holdings totalled 60.6 trillion won as of end-February, after peaking at 121.8 trillion won in January last year. Average daily trading value fell to about 4.5 trillion won and won deposits also declined. Stablecoin holdings stayed relatively large at 607.1 billion won.
