Microsoft releases AI agent control standard for developers

Microsoft has released an open-source standard called the Agent Control Spec to manage what AI agents are allowed or prohibited from doing. The specification helps developers and security and compliance teams define agent behavior rules in policy files. Policies can cover permitted and banned actions, points requiring human approval, and what records to keep for later review. The rules are applied at multiple checkpoints throughout an agent’s workflow and support plugins for major agent frameworks.

Criteria for choosing a crypto exchange are shifting from trading volume, brand awareness and aggressive marketing to disclosed reserves, regulatory compliance and custody structure, DigitalToday reported. On June 1, Cryptopolitan selected ChangeNOW, Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini and Bitstamp as the most trustworthy exchanges this year, saying trust in 2026 comes from verifiable structure. It cited exchange collapses and hacks as drivers of the change and highlighted proof of reserves and asset storage methods.

DeepSeek to form Code Harness development team, challenging Claude Code and Codex

Chinese AI model developer DeepSeek is forming a team to develop an agent coding tool called Code Harness that would compete directly with Anthropic\'s Claude Code and OpenAI\'s Codex. Decrypt reported that DeepSeek engineer Deli Chen posted two job openings on social media platform X for a product manager and an R&D engineer, based in Beijing. The launch schedule has not been disclosed. DeepSeek highlights pricing competitiveness for its latest model, DeepSeek V4.
