New book recounts 1,100 days by former Kookbang Ilbo deputy editor

Gi Kuk-gan (기국간), a professor at Sungkyunkwan University\'s Advanced Defense Research Institute, published the new title on April 10. The book diagnoses three paradoxes—hierarchy, distortion and communication—and proposes alternatives including red-team journalism and reforms to military media governance.

Broadcast Media Communications Commission releases 2024 TV broadcaster audience share
The Broadcast Media Communications Commission said on Sunday it released the 2024 viewing share calculation results for 166 television broadcasters at its third plenary meeting of 2026. The calculation covered broadcasters operating 285 channels with annual viewing records. KBS posted the highest share among terrestrial broadcasters at 20.862 percent. TV Chosun led comprehensive programming and news channels at 7.441 percent. CJ ENM recorded 11.092 percent.
