Trader calls Cardano a \'ghost town\' after 8 years, cites gap with Solana
Crypto market commentator Lark Davis criticised Cardano’s weak network use and compared it unfavourably with Solana. Davis said Cardano has not reached an adoption level that matches its eight-year history and called it a “ghost town”. Data showed Solana has processed more than 126 billion cumulative transactions versus about 124 million for Cardano. Solana also leads in DeFi metrics including total value locked and decentralised exchange volume.

Cardano decentralisation metric hits record high, raising questions over ADA rebound
Cardano posted a record high in its Nakamoto coefficient, a measure of network decentralisation, as the metric rose to 16, according to U.Today. The figure was compiled by Chainspect and shared by stake pool operator Rick McCracken. ADA also rebounded, reaching $0.199 and posting a 18.17 percent weekly gain. Santiment said the rally stood out in volatile altcoins, though the number of wallets holding balances fell by 7,070 from two months earlier.

Internet Computer posts 6.5 billion transactions in 30 days, ahead of Solana and BNB Chain
Internet Computer (ICP) recorded the highest number of transactions among major blockchains over the past 30 days, with about 6.5 billion, according to counts compiled by Chainspect as of May 24 and cited by blockchain outlet BeInCrypto. That is more than double Solana’s 2.9 billion over the same period. Pogo, BNB Chain and Tron followed, but each had fewer than 500 million transactions.
