[DigitalToday reporter Hyunwoo Choo (추현우)] Internet Computer (ICP) has recorded the most transactions among major blockchains over the past 30 days. A tally by Chainspect as of May 24 showed about 6.5 billion transactions over the period, blockchain outlet BeInCrypto reported on May 25 local time.

That is more than double Solana’s 2.9 billion over the same period. Pogo, BNB Chain and Tron followed, but all three networks had fewer than 500 million transactions. In transaction activity over the past 30 days, Internet Computer and Solana were far ahead of other networks.

Internet Computer distributes workloads across more than 49 subnets. Each subnet performs consensus independently, a structure designed to boost throughput through horizontal scaling rather than a single execution layer.

Cumulative transactions also reached 287 billion since its launch in May 2021. Current throughput stands at 2,891 transactions per second, and transactions processed over the past hour were tallied at 10.4 million. Still, increased network activity did not directly translate into a price rebound. ICP rose about 49 percent in early May but has given back most of those gains since May 9, falling more than 28 percent.
