New book \'Story Engineering\' lays out AI content strategy for creators across genres
Kim Woo-jung (김우정), a director at AI storytelling lab PROM, will publish \'Story Engineering\' on May 8, presenting a creative methodology for creators in the AI era. The book’s core is the author’s Chain of Story framework, which builds narratives step by step from title to editing. It also covers heuristic prompting, combining creators’ intuition with AI logic through strategically designed dialogue. Kim stresses maintaining leadership when collaborating with AI and introduces a personalised “story assistant” concept.

Call opens to build training data for AI reasoning to support model development
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Information Society Agency will open a call from April 1 for a 2026 programme to build 10 types of AI reasoning data. The 6.6 billion won initiative aims to create high-quality data covering logical thought processes and causality to improve the reliability of AI models and their industrial applicability. It includes five tasks each for large language models and physical AI in manufacturing and robotics, with data to be released on AI Hub.

CrowdWorks joins Motif consortium
CrowdWorks said on Monday it has joined the Motif Technologies consortium as a key partner supplying data for the government’s “independent AI foundation model” project. The company will be responsible for building training data for a 300 billion-parameter reasoning-focused large language model being developed by the consortium, focusing on chain-of-thought datasets to strengthen logical reasoning. It will also deploy its Alpy Knowledge Compiler to parse complex unstructured documents such as tables and charts into AI-readable formats.
