Dassault Systemes expands AI-native agentic 3DEXPERIENCE platform
Dassault Systemes said on July 27 that Centric PLM, provided by its subsidiary Centric Software, will offer virtual companions on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, including AURA for program management, LEO for complex engineering and MARIE for deep science. The company also unveiled industry-specific Virtual Twin Factories. It said the tools interpret user intent, reason in an industrial context and support decisions. CEO Pascal Daloz said virtual twin factories combine virtual companions, generative experiences and Virtual Twin as a Service.

Company-specific experience will define edge in AI era, ERP to become key platform
Younglimwon SoftLab CEO Young-bum Kwon (권영범) said companies will struggle to maintain a competitive edge in the AI era without experience and data accumulated directly by people on the ground. He said ERP is increasingly important as core infrastructure that integrates and tracks data across all process stages. Kwon also said AX strategies should align with an organisation’s purpose. Speakers at the event also stressed data accumulation, connectivity and utilisation as key to competitiveness.

LGU to reposition as AI software company, targets global market
LG Uplus declared it will move beyond telecommunications to become an AI-focused software company and expand its voice AI software business to enter global markets. CEO Hong Beom-sik said the company aims to lead solutions combining telecom and AX technologies through capabilities and partnerships. He cited four strategies: strengthening fundamentals, innovating customer value, investing in AI infrastructure and expanding globally. LG Uplus is promoting its voice AI service ixi-O and B2B growth in AICC and AI data centres.
