XRP ETF inflows keep coming; biggest holder type is investment advisers

About $1.6 billion has flowed into U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds, and investment advisers are the largest holder type based on second-quarter 13F filings. Inflows have continued even as XRP has pulled back. Data showed the ETFs recorded nine straight sessions of net inflows, including $26.2 million on Aug. 28. Goldman Sachs held about $87.4 million, with Jane Street and Millennium Management at about $16.6 million each.

XRP spot ETFs top $100 million in weekly net inflows despite 20 percent pullback

XRP spot exchange-traded funds logged net inflows of $110.49 million last week, the largest weekly inflow so far in 2026. Weekly inflows rose 177.7 percent from the prior week as flows accelerated from $2.25 million two weeks earlier. About $26.2 million came in on Friday alone, lifting cumulative net inflows to about $1.66 billion. Inflows increased even as XRP fell more than 20 percent from its $1.70 peak and traded around $1.37.

BlackRock is focusing on bitcoin and ether rather than entering the spot XRP exchange-traded fund market, a move some in the industry say could be read as a market call that other cryptocurrencies lack sufficient investment value. Nate Geraci, president of The ETF Store, called the strategy risky but said he still expects BlackRock to expand its lineup of spot crypto ETFs. Data showed large outflows from Coinbase Prime into wallets linked to BlackRock’s IBIT, ETHA and ETHB products.
