SentinelOne, Fargonetworks launch hybrid MDR to counter AI-driven attacks
SentinelOne and MDR specialist Fargonetworks launched an AI-based joint security operations service called Hybrid MDR, combining SentinelOne\'s Wayfinder Threat Hunting with Fargonetworks\' 24/7 MDR operations. The companies said the model integrates threat hunting using Google Threat Intelligence, monitoring by security analysts, and expansion to NDR and CTEM to improve detection and response, including against unknown zero-day attacks. The service will be offered at no extra cost to customers using Singularity Complete through Fargonetworks.

Security hot issue: N2SF rollout nears as security buzz rises; countries scramble to respond to Mythos
With South Korea set to implement the National Cybersecurity Basic Guidelines in May and introduce the N2SF framework, security companies are accelerating efforts to target expected demand for related solutions. The guidelines include data controls based on classification levels, minimum security budget and staffing ratios, mandatory multi-factor authentication and new measures for AI systems and private cloud security. Interest is also rising in Anthropic’s Mythos AI model, prompting governments and companies to prepare responses.

Piolink steps up cooperation with Bigs Technology on AI-based autonomous security, to develop CTEM
Piolink said on Sunday it will strengthen cooperation with AI platform company Bigs Technology to develop next-generation security solutions. Piolink said it made a strategic investment in Bigs Technology late last year and is accelerating efforts to enhance intelligent security capabilities. The two companies plan to develop an AI agent-based Continuous Threat Exposure Management platform. Piolink also plans to apply Bigs Technology’s agentic AI technology to its security products and services.
