Bridge, a stablecoin infrastructure firm affiliated with Stripe, has been added to the European Union\'s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) register after securing regulatory approval in Luxembourg. The listing brings the number of electronic money token (EMT) issuers on the EU register to 42, Cointelegraph reported. The update was reflected in the latest release published by the European Securities and Markets Authority on Aug. 6.

The approval is conditional and not a full licence. Regulators will also scrutinise governance and potential conflicts tied to RLUSD stablecoin issuance and related services.
