LG Electronics 2.5-MW liquid cooling unit wins Nvidia \'DSX Ready\' approval
LG Electronics said its 2.5-MW coolant distribution unit (CDU) has been approved as Nvidia\'s \"DSX Ready CDU\", expanding its data centre liquid-cooling lineup. DSX Ready is an Nvidia certification programme for products that meet requirements related to the DSX AI Factory platform, with CDUs targeting units of 2.3 MW or more used in AI factory builds. LG Electronics previously received approvals for 600-kW and 1-MW CDUs.

Samsung to build 240 billion won HVAC production line in Gwangju, to start operations in early 2028
Samsung Electronics will build an HVAC production line for AI data centre air-conditioning equipment at its Gwangju complex. Samsung Electronics, FlaktGroup Korea and the Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special Zone signed an investment agreement on Aug. 19. Samsung plans to invest about 240 billion won to construct a 21,800 square metre production line at its third campus in Buk-gu, Gwangju, with operations set to begin in early 2028.

Samsung Electronics completes India HVAC production line to boost AI data center supply
Samsung Electronics is stepping up supplies of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning solutions for AI data centers by expanding production in India. The company said on Aug. 13 it held a completion ceremony for a new FlaktGroup production line in Pune, Maharashtra. The facility will serve customers in India and the Asia-Pacific region alongside its Noida site. Once fully operational, it can produce up to 6,500 HVAC units annually.
