Volvo Group tests in-house cryptocurrency for supplier deals, considers private blockchain
Volvo Group is testing the development of its own cryptocurrency for supplier transactions and is considering a closed blockchain environment to simplify dealings among material suppliers, transport providers and the company. Ivan Branko, who oversees information management, AI and analytics in a Belgian logistics operations unit, said the work focuses on business needs such as reducing supply chain inefficiencies and complexity. The plan would combine payments and record-keeping in one structure, storing transport order data on a ledger.

Kalshi seeks approval to trade XRP, SHIB perpetual futures in U.S.
Kalshi is seeking U.S. approval to trade perpetual futures contracts based on XRP and Shiba Inu (SHIB). According to The Crypto Basic, Kalshi submitted multiple crypto perpetual futures contracts to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission under a self-certification process. The filing also includes Solana, Stellar, Ethereum and Dogecoin. The proposed contracts are designed for 24/7 trading and include funding-rate mechanics and position limits, while CFTC review remains pending.

Neowiz Q1 operating profit falls 32 percent, speeds development of \'Lies of P\' sequel and other titles
Neowiz posted double-digit sales growth in the first quarter on the strength of mobile game hits and stable performance from core intellectual property, but operating profit fell 32 percent to 7.0 billion won. First-quarter sales rose 14 percent to 101.4 billion won and net profit was 15.5 billion won on foreign exchange gains. The company plans events around key IP in the second quarter and is accelerating development of a \'Lies of P\' sequel and other projects.
