Anthropic\'s Mythos reshapes Firefox security team workflow
Mozilla researchers shared how Anthropic\'s AI model Mythos has changed Firefox security work. Mozilla said Mythos identified large numbers of high-risk bugs, including some that had been in the code for more than 10 years. Firefox shipped patches for 423 bugs in April 2026, up from 31 a year earlier. Researchers said newer agentic tools can evaluate results and filter poor outputs. Mozilla also said Mythos has helped find sandbox vulnerabilities.
