Nexon launches domestic PC Overwatch service with season 4 update
Nexon said on Tuesday it has started domestic season 4 service for the PC game Overwatch, developed by Blizzard Entertainment. Nexon will provide service as the domestic publisher, allowing play via Nexon.com and Nexon Plug in addition to the Battle.net launcher. It will give linked-account users loot boxes and other items, and offer additional rewards for those who linked in advance. Season 4 adds new content, including a new Korean hero, and Nexon will run events and hold an offline user gathering in Busan.

Nexon to publish Blizzard\'s Overwatch in South Korea; service to start Aug. 12
Nexon will take charge of South Korea PC publishing for Blizzard Entertainment\'s shooting game Overwatch and introduce a new live service, it said on Monday. The official service will begin on Aug. 12 alongside the Season 4 update. The companies plan Korea-tailored content and PC bang services. Users can link Nexon and Battle.net accounts through Aug. 11, keeping all existing items and progress and receiving rewards if linkage is maintained.

Nexon Q1 operating profit jumps 40 percent on MapleStory, Ark Raiders success
Nexon said it achieved its best-ever quarterly results on the back of global success for the MapleStory franchise and Ark Raiders. The company posted first-quarter consolidated revenue of 1.42 trillion won and operating profit of 542.6 billion won, up 34 percent and 40 percent from a year earlier. Overseas revenue rose 59 percent. Nexon provided second-quarter revenue and profit guidance and outlined partnerships and upcoming game launches.
