Rakuten, Exodus and Binance speed up XRP ecosystem expansion

XRP is expanding its ecosystem across major crypto platforms, payment services and exchanges. In recent weeks, Rakuten, Exodus Movement, Bitget Wallet and Binance have introduced or expanded XRP and XRP Ledger-related features, The Crypto Basic reported. Rakuten integrated XRP into its payment system in Japan, linking XRP to over 44 million users and more than 5 million merchants. Exodus and Bitget Wallet broadened XRPL functions, including support for Ripple stablecoin RLUSD, while Binance completed RLUSD integration on XRPL.

Crypto exchanges expand companywide AI use, link usage to performance reviews

Three major centralized cryptocurrency exchanges, including OKX, Bybit and Bitget, are requiring all employees to use AI tools daily. Some are incorporating AI token usage into performance indicators, treating AI as core operating infrastructure rather than an option. Exchanges are rolling out tools such as Anthropic’s Claude and setting minimum daily usage targets, particularly for developers. The approach has drawn debate over whether token usage reflects productivity.

XRP futures volume surges to $4 billion as short liquidations spike during brief rebound

XRP is seeing concentrated liquidations of short positions during a recent rebound, raising the chance it will post its first monthly gain this year. Over the past 24 hours, $5.33 million of $7.77 million in liquidations came from shorts, with short liquidations accounting for 68.5 percent, CoinGlass data showed. XRP futures volume rose to $4 billion, led by Binance. XRP is trading at $1.39, up about 5.4 percent on the week.
