Bitcoin collateral loan market surges to $16 billion, could match Bitcoin market cap

The digital credit market backed by bitcoin collateral is growing rapidly and emerging as a new financialisation area in the Bitcoin ecosystem. A UTXO executive said the bitcoin-collateral digital credit market has grown to about $16 billion and is among the fastest-growing areas in Bitcoin’s capital structure. He said continued growth in credit products built on Bitcoin could, over the long term, create a market that competes with Bitcoin’s roughly $1.5 trillion market capitalisation.

Grayscale says Fed rate hike unlikely to have major impact on bitcoin

Grayscale\'s crypto research team said a U.S. Federal Reserve rate hike is likely to have only a limited impact on bitcoin and does not signal a cycle change. Research head Zach Pandl (잭 팬들) called it a mid-cycle adjustment, saying one or two expected hikes in 2026 would not significantly change capital allocation. Bitcoin recently traded around $76,581, up 18 percent over 30 days, as broader inflation pressures persist.

Bitcoin ETFs could overtake gold ETFs, Bloomberg analyst says

Spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds could, over the long term, grow to as much as about three times the size of gold ETFs, a forecast said. Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas said bitcoin spot ETFs could significantly surpass gold ETFs in assets, even though bitcoin remains highly volatile. He said generational change and rising interest among younger investors could reshape demand, while easing volatility could help draw institutional inflows.
