NFT marketplace Nifty Gateway to close on Feb. 23
Nifty Gateway, an NFT marketplace seen as a symbol of the 2021 NFT boom, will close on Feb. 23, 2026. CoinDesk reported that its owner Gemini has moved the platform into withdrawals-only mode and instructed users to withdraw remaining NFTs and assets within a month. Withdrawals can be made to a Gemini exchange account or via bank transfer through Stripe. The company said it will refocus its NFT business on wallet services and develop an integrated super app.
