Tokenized stocks market cap hits record $2.3 billion
The market value of tokenized stocks hit a record $2.3 billion, Cointelegraph reported on Wednesday. Analysts said demand for blockchain-based equity products is rising as cryptocurrency exchanges roll out tokenized stock offerings. By network, Ethereum had the biggest share at 34 percent, followed by BNB Chain at 30 percent and Solana at 23 percent. Exchange products drove growth, while Ondo Finance remained the largest issuer.

Crypto exchange listings shift as memecoins fall and tokenised assets rise
Centralised exchange listing trends in the first half of 2026 shifted quickly away from memecoin-led speculative themes toward tokens tied to real-world use, an analysis showed. Reviewing more than 10,000 listings across 10 major exchanges, the report found the focus moved to blockchain infrastructure, decentralised finance and tokenised assets. Tokenised assets rose to nearly 1 in 5 listed tokens. Memecoin listings fell for six straight quarters, while GameFi additions also dropped sharply.

Binance expands U.S. stock trading abroad, plans tokenised bStocks
Binance has started offering trading in about 7,000 U.S.-listed stocks and exchange-traded funds outside the United States. Users can manage cryptocurrencies and stocks through a single Binance account and buy fractional shares from as little as $5. Trading is available 24 hours a day, five days a week, using supported stablecoins such as USDC and USDT and Binance Coin. Binance also plans to launch tokenised stock product bStocks within weeks.
