Com2uS Holdings said on Tuesday it posted 15.6 billion won in second-quarter revenue, an operating loss of 5.3 billion won and net profit of 7.7 billion won. The company said the operating loss narrowed from the previous quarter due to cost efficiency measures, while net profit returned to black after gains from the sale of part of its stakes in affiliated companies. It plans new game launches and platform expansion in the second half.

Com2uS Holdings is starting global testing for Ares, which has been revamped from a massively multiplayer online role-playing game into a single-player-focused action RPG, as it moves toward a second-half release. The company said the global early preview runs until 9 a.m. on May 27 across North America, Europe, Japan and Southeast Asia, excluding some markets such as South Korea and Taiwan where the game is already launched.
