Shinhan Bank introduces housing-linked wealth management model with Hyundai E&C
Shinhan Bank said on Thursday it signed a strategic business agreement with Hyundai Engineering & Construction to introduce a wealth management model that combines housing and finance, centered on Apgujeong redevelopment complexes. The plan links Hyundai E&C’s high-end housing brand THE H with Shinhan Financial Group’s Shinhan Premier brand to offer tailored services. Shinhan Bank plans a dedicated resident consulting space and programs such as seminars and market outlook lectures, and will expand the model to areas including Banpo and Cheongdam.

More brokerage staff out-earn CEOs after KOSPI surges
More employees at South Korean brokerages received higher pay than their chief executives last year as the KOSPI rose 76 percent, the article said. Regulatory filings showed large one-off bonuses pushed several branch heads and executives to the top of pay rankings at firms including Samsung Securities, Hana Securities and NH Investment & Securities. At Yuanta Securities, retail directors led pay lists, with some earning several times the CEO’s compensation.

Musinsa Empty opens Apgujeong Galleria store to strengthen new high-end brands
Musinsa said on Feb. 27 it opened its Musinsa Empty fashion select shop at Galleria Department Store’s Luxury Hall West in Apgujeong. It said it has significantly strengthened its new high-end brand lineup for luxury customers while maintaining its experimental brand curation identity. The Apgujeong Galleria outlet is Empty’s first entry into a distributor and its third store overall. Musinsa said the store’s lineup is made up of more than 90 percent global brands.
