AI built a browser too?
Michael Truell, CEO of Cursor developer Anysphere, promoted a GPT-5.2-based web browser called FastRender, saying it was built and ran without interruption for a week. He said it includes more than 3 million lines of code and implements components from HTML parsing to a JavaScript virtual machine. Developers cited by The Register criticised the output’s quality and pointed to an 88 percent task failure rate in its GitHub repository.
