Amazon Prime Video introduces short-form feed after Netflix and Disney+
Amazon Prime Video has launched a short-form feature called Clips that shows drama and movie clips in a vertical feed, The Verge reported on May 8. Users can scroll a Clips carousel on the app home screen to watch short video snippets from content available on the platform. Prime Video says it recommends new content each time based on viewing history. The feature also supports sharing and rent-or-buy actions.

YouTube raises YouTube Premium and YouTube Music subscription prices
YouTube is raising subscription prices for YouTube Premium and YouTube Music. The increase applies to both new and existing subscribers. YouTube Premium’s individual plan rises to $15.99 a month, while the family plan moves to $26.99 and Premium Lite to $8.99. YouTube Music’s individual plan increases to $11.99 and its family plan to $18.99. Existing users will receive notice at least 30 days in advance.

Webtoon Entertainment 2025 revenue nears 2 trillion won, operating loss down 37 percent
Webtoon Entertainment said on Monday it posted revenue growth for a third straight year and recorded positive adjusted EBITDA for a third consecutive year. Full-year 2025 revenue rose 2.5 percent to $1.38 billion, it said. Adjusted EBITDA was $19.4 million and the operating loss narrowed 36.9 percent to $63.5 million. Fourth-quarter revenue fell 6.3 percent, while adjusted EBITDA turned positive. The company forecast first-quarter revenue to be down 1.5 percent to up 1.5 percent on a constant-currency basis.
