Amazon Prime Video has launched a feature called Clips that shows drama and movie clips in a vertical feed, The Verge reported on May 8.
Following Netflix and Disney+, Amazon Prime Video has also introduced a short-form video feed. Users can scroll a Clips carousel on the app home screen to watch short video clips from content available on the platform.
Prime Video says it recommends new content each time based on viewing history.
Users can jump straight from the Clips feed to full content, or rent and buy titles. The feature also lets users add content to a watchlist and share it via text message, email and social media. Recipients need the Prime Video app to watch shared clips.
Clips is currently available to some users in the United States on iOS, Android and Fire tablets, and is set to expand to all users this summer.
