Palantir Technologies shares jumped more than 12 percent in after-hours trading after the company reported fiscal second-quarter results that beat market expectations, with revenue up 93 percent from a year earlier. The company also raised its full-year outlook for a third consecutive quarter. U.S. revenue rose 115 percent, led by gains in commercial and government business. CEO Alex Karp said demand for AI sovereignty has exploded.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella published a post warning that excessive reliance on AI in the AI era can make it difficult for companies to protect core intellectual property. He said if AI model training flows only one way, economic value concentrates with those that control training infrastructure rather than those that create knowledge. Nadella described limits on customer data distillation and cited Kenneth Arrow’s information paradox, arguing AI reverses it by putting buyers at risk.
