FSS warns of scam impersonating Dunamu\'s GIWA blockchain network

South Korea\'s Financial Supervisory Service issued a consumer alert after scammers used a fake blockchain network impersonating Dunamu\'s GIWA to steal digital assets. SEC draws over 100 comments on proposed crypto rules as airdrop provisions come under scrutiny

Former Ripple CTO warns Xaman XRP wallet account may be compromised or a scam, suspended hours later

David Schwartz (데이비드 슈워츠), former chief technology officer of Ripple, warned users that an account linked to the Xaman wallet service might be compromised or a scam. The account had posted about a Xaman airdrop on the XRP Ledger and instructed users to check eligibility and claim tokens on-chain. Community reaction was negative, citing repeated tagging and spam-like posts. The account was suspended within hours, but neither X nor the Xaman Foundation explained why.
