Most new coins since 2024 fail to hold even TGE price, data show

More than 90 percent of crypto projects launched since 2024 with market capitalisations above $100 million have failed to regain their listing prices, data showed. CryptoRank found only 8 of 113 tokens released from 2024 to 2026 traded above their token generation event (TGE) prices, while the median return was -95.7 percent. Hyperliquid was a notable outlier. Separate research from Memento Research and Delphi Digital reported similar post-listing declines.

Former Ripple CTO says suspect it if you met me on Instagram; 90 percent are imposters

David Schwartz, former chief technology officer at Ripple, warned users to be wary of accounts impersonating him on Instagram and other social media. Responding to a user who said they had messaged him on Instagram, Schwartz said he has not used Instagram for years and that the person they were talking to had a 90 percent chance of being an imposter. He said he has a Facebook account but posts only rarely.

Binance to distribute $800,000 worth of XRP in rewards campaign with strict KYC, volume and residency criteria

Binance has launched an XRP rewards campaign worth a total of $800,000, but participation is limited to users who meet strict criteria including residency, customer identity verification and trading requirements. Eligible users must hold at least 0.01 RLUSD in certain accounts and post average daily trading volume of at least $500 on margin or futures, using RLUSD as collateral. Rewards are calculated using the day’s lowest balance and can be reduced for funds converted from borrowed stablecoins.
