Security concerns are spreading after vulnerabilities were found in widely used internet software, including PHP, the Node.js JavaScript runtime and the open-source proxy LiteLLM. Anxiety has grown after a critical flaw was discovered in PHP, prompting some countries to block websites when patches are difficult or impossible. Reports also say hackers began seeking targets days before fixes. Separately, AI-focused hacking attempts are increasing, with attacks using AI agents reported across multiple regions and industries.

AhnLab took part in GovWare 2026, a global security conference held at Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore from Oct. 13 to 15. The AI-native security platform company showcased its integrated brand, AhnLab AI Plus, focusing on AI SOC, IT-OT convergence cyber-physical system security and threat intelligence capabilities. It also introduced an AI-native security operations environment and shared recent Asia-Pacific threat cases through an invited speaker.
