LG CNS, Japan\'s KDDI to jointly pursue AX business in Asia-Pacific
LG CNS said on Tuesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with Japanese telecoms company KDDI to expand AI transformation (AX) and digital transformation (DX) projects in the Asia-Pacific region. The companies plan joint business in areas including AI, smart cities, telecommunications and systems integration operations management. They will set up a working-level consultative body and prioritise Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and China as initial target regions.

LG CNS, Doosan broaden cooperation on AI, robots and data centres
LG CNS said on Thursday it signed a memorandum of understanding with Doosan to strengthen global competitiveness in new businesses spanning artificial intelligence transformation, robot transformation, data centres and cloud. The companies plan to set up a business cooperation body within a month of signing and draw up operating plans. Cooperation includes AI platforms, potential robot collaboration, data centre and cloud synergies, hydrogen fuel cell adoption and manufacturing AX using digital twin technology.

LG CNS, FuriosaAI to introduce NPUs to agentic AI, target public AX market
LG CNS said on Thursday it will work with AI semiconductor company FuriosaAI to develop neural processing unit-based AI services and target the public AX market. The two will strengthen cooperation in the “independent AI foundation model” project involving an LG AI Research consortium. LG CNS will optimize and commercialize AI service performance based on K-EXAONE using FuriosaAI’s RNGD, while FuriosaAI will supply RNGD and provide NPU technical support.
