Naver expands its \'data territory\' for AI agent era between chatter and records
Naver is launching Thingsbook and Lounge in overseas and domestic markets as it seeks to reshape its user-generated content ecosystem. Naver appoints 3 new C-level executives to strengthen Team Naver synergy
Naver is appointing three new C-level leaders to integrate Team Naver capabilities and strengthen synergy across divisions. The company named Kim Kwang-hyun as chief data and content officer, Yoo Bong-seok as chief responsible management officer and Hwang Soon-bae as chief human resources officer. The appointments, following the naming of a COO and CFO, take effect on Feb. 1. Naver also plans to advance its AI competitiveness around \'AgentN\' and expand global partnerships.

Naver to launch Lounge on Jan. 28 to boost time spent and capture AI data
Naver will formally launch its new open community service, Lounge, on Jan. 28. The platform connects topic boards with chat to support real-time interaction without a separate sign-up process. It is positioned as a way to address limits of existing community services and increase time spent on the platform. The service is also aimed at securing real-time, unstructured data to help train and upgrade Naver\'s AgentN AI agent due in the first half of the year.
