Christine Lagarde to step down as ECB president in February 2027
European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde (크리스틴 라가르드) said she will step down on Feb. 7, 2027. Cointelegraph reported on Oct. 29 that Lagarde wrote on X that she had informed colleagues of her retirement plan. Lagarde took office in November 2019 and would serve about 7 years and 3 months if she leaves as scheduled, stepping down before her term ends in October 2027.

Alphabet earnings miss signals AI may be encroaching on its search business
Alphabet showed slower growth in its core search business in third-quarter results, with search and other revenue rising 12 percent to about $63 billion but missing expectations for a second straight quarter.
