Darknet selling deepfake tools to bypass KYC, threatening finance and crypto platforms

Fraud tools that use AI deepfakes and real-time voice alteration to bypass know-your-customer checks on financial platforms are being sold on the darknet, Cointelegraph reported. Dark Web Informer said a seller known as Jinkusu offers tools to deceive KYC systems at banks and crypto platforms. Vecert Analyzer said the tool uses real-time face swaps via InsightFace and voice changes to evade biometric authentication.

Kiwoom Securities previously introduced a chat community that allows investors to communicate in real time while viewing stock charts and current prices. Dalpa built a system that analyzes users\' chat text in real time to determine whether to restrict content.
