OpenAI, Anthropic and Meta incidents test company defences against AI hacking threats
A hacking incident involving Hugging Face has raised alarms across corporate security as AI agents emerge as active cyber attackers. The security industry is treating the case as a sign that attacks abusing autonomous AI are accelerating. OpenAI researchers said the episode exposed not only AI attack capability but also limits in safety evaluation. Similar incidents were reported at Anthropic and during external testing of a Meta AI model, adding urgency to controls and defensive frameworks.

SKB uses AI agents to manage network quality, boosts AX push
SK Broadband said on Tuesday it is applying an in-house platform that allows employees to create artificial intelligence agents to network quality management. Built in February with its network unit and AT·DT Center, the platform automates development setup so work can start in five minutes. Linked to a location-based data analysis system, it uses network and customer-experience data. It supports about 600 AI apps and about 30 AI agents, including the C-One monitoring and diagnostics agent.

Darknet selling deepfake tools to bypass KYC, threatening finance and crypto platforms
Fraud tools that use AI deepfakes and real-time voice alteration to bypass know-your-customer checks on financial platforms are being sold on the darknet, Cointelegraph reported. Dark Web Informer said a seller known as Jinkusu offers tools to deceive KYC systems at banks and crypto platforms. Vecert Analyzer said the tool uses real-time face swaps via InsightFace and voice changes to evade biometric authentication.
