The South Korean government will brief the Seoul-based diplomatic corps on its plan to build a \"global AI hub\" and identify country-by-country cooperation needs. The Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a joint briefing on Tuesday with envoys from about 60 countries attending. The government said it aims to share the hub’s direction and develop demand for cooperation using AI to solve problems.

MSIT seeks bidders for \'AI for All\' project to offer Docpamo-based AI chatbot
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT said it will recruit an operator through Aug. 11 for its \'AI for All\' project to provide a free AI chatbot to all citizens based on domestic AI models. The selected company must launch a general-purpose chatbot this year, along with a public AI agent and company-specific services. The government will allocate up to 512 Nvidia B200 GPUs and provide support through end-2030.
