Oracle CEO sees AI making some jobs unnecessary

Oracle co-CEO Mike Sicilia said AI will go beyond speeding up work and could force companies to rethink whether some tasks remain necessary. Speaking at Oracle AI World, he said AI will fundamentally rewrite organisational processes and give people more time to live “more humanly.” Oracle also unveiled new agent-based Fusion applications designed to take over entire work steps, citing hiring-team research tasks that now take 15 to 20 minutes instead of 2 to 4 days.

Oracle, OpenAI expand enterprise AI alliance from security to app development

Oracle will work with OpenAI to roll out AI-based enterprise products, the company announced at Oracle AI World in Las Vegas. Oracle said the two companies combined OpenAI models, ChatGPT and Codex with Oracle applications, data and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to launch products across operations, application development, security and startups. Offerings include Oracle AI Workspace, Oracle AI Security Mesh and Oracle App Composer, plus an Oracle AI SMB bundle that includes $12,000 a year in Oracle cloud credits.

Bespin Global wins Oracle Partner Award citing Samsung Securities AI-ready data platform

Bespin Global said on Oct. 27 it won the APAC Data Platform Breakthrough category at the 2026 Oracle Partner Awards for an AI-ready data platform built on Oracle Autonomous AI Database that reflects financial sector requirements for data sovereignty and security. The company said its Samsung Securities AI-ready data platform project served as a key reference. The project focused on expanding data for AI use while securing high levels of security, stability and data sovereignty.
