Bespin Global said on Oct. 27 it won the APAC Data Platform Breakthrough category at the 2026 Oracle Partner Awards for a case in which it built an AI-ready data platform reflecting financial sector requirements for data sovereignty and security based on Oracle Autonomous AI Database.

The awards ceremony was held on Oct. 25 local time at Oracle AI World 2026 in Las Vegas. The company said the Samsung Securities AI-ready data platform project was included as a key reference in the award.

The Samsung Securities project focused on expanding data held by a financial company into data assets that AI can use while also securing the high levels of security, data sovereignty and stability required in the financial sector.

Samsung Securities built a foundation for data use needed in the AI era based on its existing Oracle-based data environment. Bespin Global said that, in building the AI platform, security and regulation were reflected not as simple constraints but as core architecture elements required for a financial company to scale AI in a stable manner.

Based on this platform, Samsung Securities is pushing various tasks to apply AI to internal operations and plans to continue expanding the scope of data use and AI-applied work.

Bespin Global said it plans to use the Samsung Securities case to support financial customers in building AI-ready data platforms while using existing data assets and then expanding them to AI agents and company-wide AI transformation.

Han Sun-ho (한선호), Bespin Global CAIO, said, "Data accumulated by financial companies over a long period is an important competitiveness in the AI era as well, and a key task is how to safely convert it into data assets that AI can use." He said, "The Samsung Securities case is meaningful in that it implemented an architecture that can increase AI usability while securing financial data security and data sovereignty."
