Koh Young Technology Q1 operating profit 9.9 billion won, up 209 percent
Koh Young Technology posted first-quarter revenue of 72.7 billion won and operating profit of 9.9 billion won, up 42 percent and 209 percent from a year earlier. It reported record first-quarter sales, citing expanding demand for 3D inspection equipment and smart factory software led by global AI customers. Net profit rose to 15.7 billion won, up 389 percent. Revenue and operating profit also increased from the previous quarter.

GIA Tech ships first ultra-precision lens equipment order worth 3.5 billion won
GIA Tech said on Thursday it entered the smartphone camera module market after shipping 2 of 5 sets of ultra-precision lens assembly and inspection equipment for a global customer’s Vietnam unit, worth 3.5 billion won. The remaining units will be delivered by mid-March. The company said the equipment integrates advanced multi-axis control and a one-stop process from automated material supply to 3D inspection and UV curing.

Giatec signs 3.5 billion won mobile optics equipment supply contract
Giatec said on Thursday it signed a 3.5 billion won contract to supply ultra-precision lens assembly and inspection equipment to the Vietnam unit of a global mobile optics company. It said the equipment supports a one-stop process from automated material feeding and lens assembly to 3D inspection and UV curing. The company said the order expands its reach into smartphone camera module manufacturing and broadens applications for its hybrid AI vision solution, RabidAI.
