Mirae Asset Securities said its retirement pension reserves rose by 9.58 trillion won in the second quarter, the largest increase among retirement pension providers. Total retirement pension market reserves increased by 45.14 trillion won in the same period, with Mirae Asset accounting for 21.2 percent of the rise. First-half reserves increased by about 14 trillion won, up 36.5 percent from the start of the year. Total pension assets reached 80.81 trillion won as of end-June.

Woori Financial Group has refined its second-half execution strategy to accelerate its move toward a full-service financial group. It plans to expand its customer base and boost cross-selling among affiliates, while restoring bank profitability, strengthening non-bank competitiveness and widening its AI transition. The group also discussed tighter profitability and soundness management, talent development and stronger AI-based security and consumer protection. It raised its Future Shared Growth Project target to 90 trillion won.
