Shinhan Financial Group will work with financial authorities and the National Police Agency to prevent “no-show” scams targeting small merchants. Shinhan Bank will provide free insurance to about 150,000 merchants on its delivery app Ttanggyo-yo, offering support of up to 3 million won if losses occur. A month-long joint campaign will run from Sept. 14 with the Financial Services Commission, Financial Supervisory Service and police, alongside prevention guidance and publicity to improve transaction practices.

KT Skylife launched Sky Internet Total Care, a bundled service offering prevention, checks and compensation for internet security, financial fraud and TV damage. It automatically blocks harmful websites and malware and provides self-check tools and one-on-one remote inspections by engineers. For voice phishing or hacking losses, it compensates subscribers, spouses and cohabiting children aged 19 or under up to 3 million won a year. It also supports TV repair costs up to 500,000 won annually.
