Douzone Bizon said on Thursday it will launch the 'Douzone AX Awards' to improve employees' AI skills and expand an internal AI transformation (AX) culture.
The awards were created to identify cases in which employees applied AI to actual work to raise productivity and to share the results. The company will accept applications and nominations until Nov. 13.
Awards will be presented in four categories, including group and individual sections. In the group category, the 'AX Impact Award' will assess AI performance at the team and division level, with 10 million won for the top prize, 5 million won for excellence and 3 million won for merit.
The individual section is divided into the 'AI Productivity Award', which evaluates improvements in work efficiency, and the 'AI Tool Utilisation Award', which evaluates creative use of in-house AI tools. Each category's top prize will receive 3 million won. The company also set up a special award selected through recommendations from colleagues or organisational leaders.
Judging will assess the impact of AI use based on key performance indicators (KPIs) designed by applicants themselves. Selected best practices will be shared company-wide through training and demonstrations.
A Douzone Bizon official said, "The Douzone AX Awards began from the belief that each employee's experience using AI becomes an asset that builds the company's tomorrow." The official added, "We will establish innovation in ways of working with AI as an organisational culture and provide customers and the market with AX value that has been proven."
