Azicland signs 25.4 billion won mass production deal for storage

Azicland, an ASIC design solutions company, said on Thursday it signed a $17.56 million contract to mass-produce storage controllers, valued at about 25.4 billion won. The contract sets annual supply volumes in advance, with deliveries to be carried out sequentially through Dec. 31. The company said it will handle integrated support across the production cycle and will conduct mass production based on TSMC processes.

Solana-based stablecoins market cap rises $900 million in 24 hours

The market value of stablecoins on the Solana layer-1 blockchain rose by $900 million in 24 hours to $15.3 billion, Cointelegraph reported on Jan. 7. The jump followed DeFi platform Jupiter’s launch of synthetic stablecoin JupUSD in partnership with issuer Ethena. JupUSD is positioned as a core unit of account across Jupiter’s expanding product suite. USDC accounts for 67 percent of the Solana stablecoin market.
