Shiba Inu unlikely to reach $1, Michael Gayed criticises meme coins

Renewed criticism has emerged that Shiba Inu (SHIB) is effectively unable to reach $1. On June 19, blockchain outlet U.Today reported that macro strategist Michael Gayed publicly pushed back against expectations in parts of the market. The debate was sparked by a TXMC post arguing SHIB would need a market value exceeding total global dollar money supply. Gayed also linked the crypto downturn to a second stage of a global liquidity crisis and criticised bitcoin’s defensive role.

Dogecoin may peak in spring 2028 under 3.5-year cycle theory

Dogecoin is again nearing the lower band of a long-term rising channel, prompting a forecast that it could top out in spring 2028, an analyst said. ChrisPax cited a 3.5-year cycle pattern and said the current price area overlaps with past major bottoms, including 2015 and March 2020. He did not rule out a temporary break below support during the 2026 bear market. A target near the channel top implies about $2.1.

Tesla Model 3 lesson: Musk acknowledges excessive automation

Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk has cited his past production automation strategy as a major mistake, saying the company tried to hand even simple tasks to robots. He acknowledged that automation at times hindered productivity, including during Tesla's 2018 Model 3 ramp-up when robots struggled with flexible trim and hose fitting in final assembly. Tesla is still pursuing mass production of its Optimus humanoid robot, with a target price of $25,000.
