Shinhan Investment launches Simple Mode on MTS for elderly and novice investors

Shinhan Investment launched a Simple Mode on its mobile trading system for elderly and beginner investors. The mode applies to core screens and offers larger text, Korean-language currency labels and simplified layouts. Order and transfer functions were reorganised to reduce errors and confusion. A quick-access reporting menu was added to help users report suspicious transactions. The company said it redesigned the service from the customer perspective and plans to expand its coverage.

November consumer prices rise 2.4 percent as weak won impact builds

South Korea’s consumer prices increased 2.4 percent in November as the weaker won lifted petroleum and imported food prices. The National Data Office reported sharp gains in diesel and gasoline, while imported fish and fruit also rose. Living costs recorded their biggest increase since July last year. Core inflation gained 2.3 percent and the OECD-style core index rose 2.0 percent.

NCSoft Aion2 wins 2025 Game of G-Star

NCSoft said Aion2 was chosen as the 2025 Game of G-Star by the Korea Game Media Association and the Korea Game Journalists Club. The award evaluates overall completeness, including gameplay, graphics and story, among titles shown at G-Star 2025. Aion2 launched in South Korea and Taiwan on November 19 and has drawn strong user interest, with 1.5 million daily active users after two days and 2.53 million cumulative characters after one week.
